How to Play an MP4 Direct Link in BenBen TV

Play an MP4 direct link in BenBen TV by pasting the file link into the stream link box and tapping Watch. Fullscreen, video fit, and 10 second skips all work on direct files.

A direct link is a web address that points straight to one video file, usually ending in MP4. Unlike a playlist link, it carries no list: it carries one video. BenBen TV plays it in the same clean player, with the same controls, and that simplicity is the point.

The BenBen TV app treats a direct link exactly like a playlist with one item. Paste it, tap Watch, and the video starts, with no list to browse and nothing else to choose first.

Paste and Play

Copy the MP4 link from its source, open BenBen TV, tap the stream link box, paste the link, and tap Watch. The video starts in the player. Use fullscreen with one tap for longer viewing, and switch the video fit if the picture looks stretched or letterboxed: fill the screen for edge to edge viewing, or keep the original size for the picture as published.

The 10 second skips are made for direct files. Rewind a missed line or skip an intro without dragging a tiny progress bar, and the 10 second skip guide shows how the skips behave on long videos.

If the file does not start, check the link and the source first. A removed file, a restricted file, or a mistyped address will not play, and a fresh paste from the source fixes the mistyped case. If the file starts and stalls, the connection is the likelier cause, and the buffering guide covers it.

If the picture looks wrong, check the video fit setting before anything else. A file published in a tall or wide shape looks stretched when forced to fill a different screen, and keeping the original size restores it at once.

MP4 in Short

Copy the file link, paste it, tap Watch, and use fullscreen and fit for the picture you want. One link, one video, no list, no fuss.

Quick Answers

Does the player download the MP4 file?

No. The player streams the file from its link. It does not save the video to the phone.

Can I play a local MP4 file from my phone in the player?

The player is built for links you paste, not for browsing local files. A gallery player is the natural home for files already on the phone.

Why does my MP4 link open in a browser instead?

Because the link was tapped in a browser. Copy the link, open the player, and paste it into the stream link box instead.
